Miller Consulting<\/a>, a organis\u00e9 un premier webinaire dans le cadre de sa campagne &#8220;Il est temps de parler des diamants&#8221;. Ce premier d&#8217;une s\u00e9rie d&#8217;\u00e9v\u00e9nements virtuels avait pour but de faire conna\u00eetre les exp\u00e9riences des communaut\u00e9s vivant dans les zones d&#8217;extraction de diamants aux membres de l&#8217;industrie de la joaillerie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le webinaire comprenait des t\u00e9moignages \u00e9difiants d&#8217;Ibrahim, membre d&#8217;une communaut\u00e9 affect\u00e9e par l&#8217;extraction industrielle de diamants en Sierra Leone, et de Farai, activiste du Zimbabwe, qui ont tous deux soulign\u00e9 comment l&#8217;extraction de diamants continue de provoquer des conflits dans leurs pays. Saskia, une bijouti\u00e8re responsable de Belgique, a expliqu\u00e9 que si ces abus sont inacceptables pour ses clients, elle n&#8217;a aucun moyen de leur garantir que leur achat n&#8217;est pas associ\u00e9 \u00e0 de telles violations des droits de l&#8217;homme. La session a en outre fourni une rare occasion d&#8217;engagement direct entre un membre d&#8217;une communaut\u00e9 africaine affect\u00e9e et des leaders industriels du <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.responsiblejewellery.com\" target=\"_blank\">Responsible Jewelry Council<\/a> et du <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.worlddiamondcouncil.org\"
